Video Editor & Sound Specialist

As a Video Editor & Sound Specialist, your day will be a balance of hands-on video production work and strategic collaboration. You'll edit a range of video content, from brand campaigns and scientific explainers to internal communications and social media clips that bring breakthrough science to life. You'll start by reviewing creative briefs and aligning with team members on upcoming projects. Mid-morning might involve concepting, then crafting strong narratives. You'll spend part of your afternoon integrating graphics, and fine-tuning pacing, managing sound from field recordings to final mix, ensuring each piece is polished and platform-ready. The day could end with a stakeholder presentation or brainstorming session to refine messaging and visual storytelling for an upcoming product launch or campaign. Must have 4+ years of experience in an agency or in-house creative role, with a focus on marketing campaigns. Must be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, including Premiere Pro, or Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve. Strong knowledge of Pro Tools, Audition, and experience operating studio and on-location sound gear (Zoom/F8n, Sound Devices, shotgun mics, lavs, etc.), plus an understanding of video production and post-production workflows.
