We are looking for a Location Manager from July 24-August 13 in Barrie / Newmarket area. Responsibilities will include daily set up and tear down of processing (wardrobe tents, hair / make up stations) and setting up appropriate on set items (tables, garbage cans, chairs for video village, holding for cast / bg), dealing with on the day location issues. Must be comfortable driving the locations truck (16' cube truck). Courtesy hotels provide. There will be a few days with our current LM to train as well a tech scout to attend. We're hiring a Content Director & Digital Producer to create compelling short-form video content, help us document this campaign in real time, and bring creative storytelling to Los Angeles politics. This is a perfect role for someone with a background in digital video, film, branded content, or social storytelling who wants to use their creative skills for something real not just views or clients. Whether you've edited docu-style reels, produced social for a startup, worked on music videos or branded TikToks if you know how to create punchy, authentic, emotionally resonant video, we want to meet you. What You'll Do Serve as the primary content producer for the campaign: plan, film, edit, and post video across Instagram, TikTok, Threads, X/Twitter, and YouTube Shorts Staff the candidate at events, rallies, and filming days to capture real moments and turn them into powerful digital stories Maintain and manage a creative content calendar, releasing 35 pieces of high-impact social content weekly Create all content in the voice of the candidate not your own reflecting Sara's message and tone Collaborate with the Campaign Manager and General Consultant to ensure alignment with the campaign's overall strategy and timeline Recruit and manage volunteer creatives and interns (video editors, designers, meme creators) to grow digital output over time Monitor analytics and performance across platforms to optimize storytelling and engagement Stay on top of trends in political media, creator culture, and progressive movement storytelling Who You Are A creative storyteller with 2+ years of experience in content production, social media, film, or digital strategy Comfortable filming on phone or camera, capturing content in the field, and editing in fast-paced environments using CapCut, Premiere, or equivalent tools You've created short-form video content that resonates and performs across platforms ideally tied to a mission or brand You're organized, fast, collaborative, and proactive able to run your own shop while working with campaign leadership You may not have a political background, but you're passionate about making a difference in California Bonus: Spanish fluency; experience managing other creatives; past work with nonprofits, political orgs, or campaigns Details Full-time position through June 2026 Some evening and weekend availability required during key moments Based in Los Angeles and available to staff events and filming with the candidate Reports to Campaign Manager and works closely with the candidate and General Consultant Salary based on experience; range available upon request
