seeking an individual(s) to teach TRF 211.5 Screenwriting on Mondays/Wednesdays 12:45pm-2:05pm during the Spring 2026 semester (3 credits). This course explores the craft of writing involved in motion picture, television and digital media storytelling through in-depth study and practice. Students write exercises in scene/story structure, sequence, character development, dialogue and short scripts, with the emphasis on becoming a better storyteller and effectively expressing your story through the script. Students learn to be responsible storytellers of fiction, non-fiction and everything in between and consider how best to engage audiences and help them better appreciate our complex contemporary times. We are seeking an individual to teach Multi-camera Television Production on Tuesdays/Thursdays 9:30am-10:50am during the Spring 2026 semester (3 credits). This course is an intermediate production course introducing students to the theory and practice of studio-based, multi-camera production for television and multimedia programming and events. This class will prepare students to produce all forms of real-time production including sports, music, current events, news, dance, entertainment, talk, cooking, game shows, etc. The skills needed to execute a successful studio-based show are many: planning; organization; camera operation; recording and playback workflow; studio and control room operations; communication and the language used to visualize and produce all the many elements to affect a cohesive program.
