Video storytelling skills are essential for the role as well as a passion for, and experience in content ideation, scripting, and pre-production; production (including conducting interviews and on-camera work); and post-production. The Vertical Video Producer Fellow will be working on a range of video formats across social media platforms, including breaking news coverage, videos from the picket line and b-roll documenting safety conditions, on-camera explainers, and concise, shareable shorts emphasizing a strong point from our longer-form content. The Vertical Video Producer Fellow must be immersed in and excited about the process of telling stories through video, with the technical and narrative skills to create powerful stories that hook viewers and keep people watching to the end.
