Freelance (Junior) Social Content Editor/Videographer (part time) Location: Toronto (mostly remote work) Overview: We need someone passionate about making short-form videos like Reels and TikToks. You'll mostly edit existing and stock footage, but sometimes you'll shoot around Toronto, too. If you love video editing and have shooting experience, this is for you! Key Responsibilities: - Create at least 10 engaging Reels/TikToks per month - Spend about 80% of your time editing from existing and stock footage (roundups/informational posts, etc) - Spend about 20% of your time filming around Toronto. - Enhance the videos, use basic motion graphics, color correction, and audio mastering. Skills and Qualifications: - Strong skills in video editing and some videography, especially for social media. - Understanding social trends/trending sounds (our social lead will provide guidance if needed) - Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and/or DaVinci Resolve (or CapCut) - Able to add text animations and make basic audio and color adjustments. - Experience in travel and lifestyle content is a plus but not required. Compensation: - Hourly rate: $20-$25/hr Please send a short video sample (under 1 minute) that shows your editing skills. We want to see how you can turn simple footage into engaging content.
